I have known Roberto and his whole family since they arrived from Cuba. We were neighbors for many many years. I was friends with his sons and his daughter in law Gwen. I'm so sad that we have lost 3 of our role models in the last 4 months.

I remember all the Christmas Eve parties with all of the family and all of kids when they were little and running around having the best time and a lot of good food that he would cook. I would sit there and just watch the smiles that would come from him and I knew it as the happiest time for him to have all of the family and kids there. Nothing like family! I may not have always understood his language but I knew the language of love and there was always lots of love! He will truly be missed! Fly high Abeulllo!
