Roberto B. Lahera

Roberto B. Lahera Born July 14th, 1929 in Cuba passed away August 7th, 2018 in Tampa, Florida.Roberto was a family man, when his day was filled with all his family around he was at his happiest. Playing Domino’s with his friends and family, which he was the best at. Throwing Christmas parties and dancing the night away was a passion for him. Cooking for all his family was his greatest joy. He was the biggest at home Tampa Bay Ray’s fan, not missing a game and even watched the replay’s. He would also never miss a day of the “Price is Right”. Roberto is preceded in death by his Father; Nicolas Lahera, Mother; Fausta Lahera, Brothers; Bizmark Lahera, Eloy Lahera, and Great Grandson; Giovannie Martinez. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ydalia, sons and their spouses; Roberto & Kandy, Henry & Lucy, and Bizmark & Gwendolyn. He’s also survived by 6 grandchildren; Kayla (spouse Gio), Jessica, Nicolas, Amanda, Bizmark Jr., & Alexa. Roberto had 3 great-grandchildren; Giovannie Martinez, Gianna Martinez, and Liam Martinez. A Celebration of Life with be held Monday, August 13th from 10:30am-12pm at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, FL 33610. A Graveside is to follow the service at Blount & Curry at Garden of Memories Cemetery 4207 E Lake Ave., Tampa, FL 33610. All family and friends are welcome to join the family following the services at Henry and Lucy’s house at 5406 36th Ave. S., Tampa, FL. 33619.
