Bearss, Robin, 77 of Tampa-St. Petersburg, son of Charles and Phyllis Bearss, passed away on Thurs.,October 21, 2021. He is survived by wife, Cathi (Eckardt) Bearss; brother, Charles Bearss (Cynthia Bearss); daughters, Pennie Collins (Gary Reed), Jolene Lewis, Candice Wooten; bonus daughter, Arian Sharon(Daniel Sharon); grandchildren, Nicholas and Andrew Collins, Logan and Mason Wooten, Caitlyn and Connor Lewis; bonus granddaughters, Charlotte and Cadence Sharon, nephews Charles(Erin),Clinton(Rayna),Cedrick(Sharifah); nine great nieces and nephews.
A graduate from Chamberlain HS and Georgia Tech. He served his country as a fighter pilot in the USAF and was a member of the 614th tactical fighter squadron (Lucky Devils) during the Vietnam War. Retired after 40yrs. as Pres./Operator at Bearss Park. Inc. He had a passion for flying and college football. He had a genuine interest in people and never knew a stranger. He always had colorful stories to tell and was well known for his sayings, (K.I.S.S. and the 5 P'S) which became principles we all live by. He really lived up to the nickname "Mr. Fix-it, given to him by his daughters and grandchildren. His deep love and devotion for his family was the very core of who he was. Rob will be desperately missed by his family and friends but we find comfort in knowing he now walks with the Lord in peace. Roger That!

A Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00pm, Friday, October 29, 2021 at Lake Magdalene United Methodist Church, 2902 W. Fletcher Avenue, Tampa with a visitation from 1:00pm-1:30pm. Immediately following the service, a graveside service with military honors will be held at Lake Carroll Cemetery.
