

Roger was predeceased by his parents, Earl and Arline, and his sister, Marlene. He is survived by his wife, Cathleen (Cochran) Landig, his sister Gale, his four children, Dana (Rick), Evon (Jeff), Robert (Barbara), and Cheryl, his mother-in-law, Anetha, his eight grandchildren, his six great grandchildren, and his fur baby, Sweet Pea.
Roger enjoyed country dancing and going to classic car shows. He had such pride in his award-winning car, a 1949 Mercury. Those who knew him, know he took such pleasure in building it.
After serving in the Vietnam War, he started working at a local tractor company. After many years of dedication and hard work he became the owner and operator of that tractor company; Landig Tractor Company. He ultimately spent nearly forty-nine years in the tractor business before retiring.
He was a man of many talents including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work.
He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
