

Sartori, Roger Gaetano 55, of Brooksville, passed away suddenly on May 12, 2015. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ingrid Eckstein Sartori. Roger was born November 15, 1959, in Seattle Washington. He attended elementary and secondary schools in Alabama, Georgia, Okinawa, and Germany, graduating from high school in Zweibrucken, Germany. Upon graduation from high school, Roger served in the United States Navy as a Medical Corpsman, which he liked very much. After an honorable discharge from the Navy he attended Hillsborough Community College in order to become a paramedic. After attending college, he started his career as a Paramedic for Hillsborough County, and then as a Fireman for Hillsborough County Fire Rescue where he remained until his retirement. Roger is survived by his wife, Christiane Graf Sartori; his daughter and son, Wendy Sartori and Cody Sartori, and their mother, Debbie Sartori; his brother and his family, Uwe and Pamela Sartori and their two sons, Kurt and Erik; his brother, Robin Sartori; his father, Victor Sartori, and his step-mother, Jeanie Sartori. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. There will be a Memorial Service June 6, 2015, at 11:00 A.M., at Blount & Curry Funeral Home, Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 West Bearss Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33624; family will start receiving guests at 10am. Interment will be on a later date at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. Roger was much loved and is greatly missed. He loved life, helping people and animals, and has left us with many cherished memories.
