

He lived larger than life, was ornery, and mischievous. He was a notorious storyteller; often repeating the same stories over and over again. He enjoyed drinking whiskey, dancing like a fool, and doting on his dog Dusty "Hog Dog". He also loved spending time with family and friends. He lovingly referred to family members as "brat".
He was a retired truck driver, enjoyed riding his Harley, and driving his Mustang Cobra. He wintered in Texas, and returned each year to his home in Ohio.
Ron is predeceased by Carol, his beloved wife of 50 years. Following his brother Steve Louallen, and sister Brenda Cameron.
He is survived by his son Ron "Buddy" Louallen Jr, daughter Theresa Korte-Fern and her husband Richard. His brothers Dan Louallen (Sarah), Richard Louallen (Shirley), and sister Patti Latteri (Fred), sister-in-law Linda Louallen. His grandchildren include Tara Ramey (Joe), Nicole Moren (Jason), Jessie Korte, Mikey Louallen, Catherine Fern, and Marie Fern. He also had great grandchildren and a large extended family. To him, everyone was family!
A Visitation will be held Saturday, April 13th at 5pm – 7pm, and the Funeral Service will be conducted at 3 pm, Sunday, April 14th, at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home @ Garden of Memories, 4207 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, FL 33610. The Interment will follow immediately after the service at the Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
