Ronald N. Brackin, age 62, passed away in the early morning hours on November 18, 2018 in Tampa, FL of natural causes. He was born in Tampa, FL to Lester Brackin and Jeanette Butler Douglas and graduated high school in 1974 from Leto High School. He worked for over 30 years with Tampa Electric Company as a Boiler Turbine Operator and Meter Mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel, who he married in 1994, two children, Joseph and April, his mother, Jeanette Butler Douglas, his mother in law, Dean Carr, four grandchildren, Zachary, Kyle, Cheyenne and Mckenzi, his daughter in-law, Candy Brackin, his son in-law, Jesse Ferris, his sister, Peggy Moseley, his brother in-laws, Patrick Carr and Bobby Carr, his sister in-law, Tina Carr, many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as numerous close friends.
He was loved by all who knew him, and he meant so much to many people. He was a rock, a shoulder to lean on, a fixer, and someone you could always depend on to brighten your day with his contagious smile and goofy personality.
Family, friends, and others touched by Ronald’s unfailing love and generosity are invited to attend service at Blount & Curry Funeral Home – Carrollwood Chapel 3207 W Bearss Ave, Tampa, FL 33618 from 11am to 1pm on Monday December 3, 2018 followed by burial at Trinity Memorial Cemetery 12609 Memorial Dr, New Port Richey, FL 34655 at 2pm to reminisce, grieve, and honor the life of a great man, Ronald Brackin.
