I was a boyhood friend and school classmate of Ron's in Mt. Gilead, Ohio. Ron was always a wonderful person to be around...full of life and good humor, positive, and always willing to help and to listen. I last saw and talked with him last year when he visited in Ohio. Despite his health issues then, he was still that same wonderful person who I grew up with. My deepest sympathies to his wife and all of the the family.

Carolyn, We were shocked to learn of Ron's long battle and want to extend our heartfelt condolences to you and the family. Regrettably we were out of town and unable to attend his service or reception. I have always viewed Ron as one of the core leaders at GTEDS responsible for the success of the Company. Your notification email had to be the most heart-wrenching to compose and send, and shows the strength of your character.

Its been years since I saw Ron face to face. I am in Erie Pa and didnt get to Fla much. However just a look at his smile and many memories flooded my mind. Ron was truly "One of the Good Guys" and a such a pleasure to work with.

Hello Carolyn, I'm so sorry that I'm just now getting around to reading your email. You and Ron were such a joy to work with at GTEDS. I'm so fortunate to have worked with him and the rest of the "good old guys" back in the day. I'm sure there's a GTEDS' golf league in Heaven and he's starting a new foursome with Bill Wofford, Mac Dunn, Earl Richards, and others who I can't remember their names at this moment. May he rest in peace, and God be with you as well. Take care, Mary Ann & Jim

To Ron's family--I count myself as very lucky to have been a class member of Ron's and to have enjoyed his sense of humor. Fun to watch him play sports all those years. Just a stand up guy. I will miss him on Facebook. Just plain miss him. Lib

Carolyn,
I am so very sorry for your loss!
My ever lasting wonderful memory of Ron and You dancing most gracefully and beautifully to a country western song in Saddlebrook. Not only me, but everyone else also was looking at your dance with total admiration. Never before or after have I seen a couple so much at ease and grace to dance country western.
God bless You and have Ron resting in his loving arms!

Thoughts and prayers with Carolyn and family. I made many trips to Tampa and always enjoyed the time I spent with Ron. As Don Coyne used to say "Ron was one of the good guys". Rest in peace Ron.
