Rose is survived by her children Sylvia Albritton (Mike) and Rita Schmidt (Rick) as well as her grandchildren Michael Albritton (Andrea), William Albritton (Carrie), Ryan Schmidt (Katherine) and Roger Schmidt and great grandchildren Dylan, Liam and Mikayla Albritton and Landon and Lana Schmidt.
Rose was born and raised in Ybor City where she helped work in her parents’ small cigar factory as a cigar maker and reader. She later became a hair dresser and co-owned the Gandy Blvd. Barber Shop and Beauty Salon with her beloved husband, LeRoy, until their retirement in 1982.
The family would like to thank the staff at Concordia Village (formerly John Knox Village) for the excellent care she received.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Research or a charity of choice.
A private family service will be held.
