Roy E. Foster Jr. "King Righteous Understanding Allah", age 44, of Tampa, Florida passed away on Friday, September 20, 2019. He was born June 25, 1975 in Madisonville, Kentucky. Growing up in a military family, he lived with his mom and sister, traveled across the United States and lived overseas in Germany and South Korea. Righteous moved to Tampa, Florida in 2000. He worked as an electrician for a couple of years and soon found his passion in business and sales. Righteous was a well known business owner, distributor of oils, cosmetics, and incense throughout the Tampa Bay area. He established a fragrance shop known as "Isis Gift Shop" named after his eldest daughter Isis Le'Queen Foster. He was a connoisseur of fragrances and had hope to study and develop his own lines of perfume. When he sold his fragrance it was from the heart; Every customer meant something to him. He loved their conversation and their love for his products. Righteous was a man that wore many hats. The one thing he loved dearly and worked so hard for, was for his family. He will be greatly missed and his legacy will live on through his family.
Righteous is survived by his lifelong partner Kelly Pettus; his children, Isis L. Foster, Raaheim A. Foster, Kanetra B. Johnson, Ashyia L. Foster, Queen Oasis Foster, Genesis L. Foster and King Righteous Foster; granddaughter, Amara Parker; his mother, Toni S. Turner and her husband, Jondi Batye; his father Roy E. Foster; his sisters, Rhonda Y. Foster and Jasmine Foster and nephews Matthew Damos and Trey DeArmond. A celebration of life will be held Sunday, September 29, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Blount & Curry, Terrace Oaks Chapel, 12690 N 56Th St, Temple Terrace, Florida 33617.
