Sally Ann Coupal, age 85, of Clearwater, Florida, passed away on July 3, 2024. She was born on June 23, 1939 in Monmouth, Illinois to Robert Cowden Bowen and Dorothy Reah Breiner. Sally had a high level of education, earning a Masters degree from McGill University after completing her BA at the University of Portland, Oregon. Sally and Larry traveled the world in the early years of there life together and then again when they were retired.
Sally dedicated her career to social work and was passionate about helping others.Sally lead a very purposeful life .In her free time, she enjoyed swimming, painting, reading, discussing politics, and spending time with her family. Sally was preceded in death by her father Robert Cowden Bowen, mother Dorothy Reah Breiner, sister Mary Cooper, and nephew David Cooper.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Larry Coupal, daughters Renee Coupal Smith and Melissa Coupal Howard, grandchildren Chelsea Smith, Zoe Howard, and Sophia Howard, as well as sons-in-law Jason Smith and Scott Howard. Sally will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
