GEDA, Sally Stearns, 82, made her transition to heaven on February 16, 2017, where she joins her husband Stan. She was a caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her children Karen Dos Passos, Mark and Donny Geda; her six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; and her two beloved cats. Sally was known for her strong will and fierce determination. She was a trooper, with a keen sense of humor, and the ability to laugh at herself. She was devoted to all of her loved ones. The family will receive friends at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Carrollwood, 3207 W Bearss Ave in Tampa, on Sunday, February 19 at 5PM, with a memorial service to begin at 6PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to Big Cat Rescue, 12802 Easy Street, Tampa.
