Sarah Lawhorne was a caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She went to be with Jesus on Saturday, November 4th after celebrating her 90th birthday just a short while ago. We will all miss her but rejoice at her being in heaven with Jesus and her loved ones that went before her.
Sarah was born in Rome GA. The only child of L.P and Agnes Sims. She was married to Joe Lawhorne for 51 years. Their union produced 5 children, Debbie ( Mike ) Ayers, Steve ( Scarlett ) Lawhorne, Kathy ( Steve) Pawelkop, Sonya Artzibushev, Chris ( Colleen) Lawhorne. They had 16 grand children and numerous great grand children.
We will remember Sarah for her love of Jesus, her joke telling, biscuit making, and card playing.
A visitation for Sarah will be held Tuesday, November 14, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, a funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM,at Blount & Curry Funeral Home at Garden of Memories, 4207 East Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610. A committal service will follow at 12:00 pm at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
