Sarah S Pursell, age 93, of Tampa, Florida passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2024. Survivors include son, Mark (Yvonne), two grandsons, David and Joshua; two granddaughters, Amanda and Angelica; three great grandsons, Seth, Sean and Jackson; two great-granddaughters, Kaylee and Yazmin; brothers, Phil , Tom, Larry and Doug; sister Carol, many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by husband Harry Jr., sons, Dave and Russ; daughter, Pam; grandson, George; sisters, Betty and Nancy; brothers, Sam, Jim, Raymond, Donald, and Ken; and a very dear sister-in-law, Wilberta.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 9:00-10:00 AM on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Blount & Curry Funeral Home @ Garden of Memories, 4207 E Lake Avenue, Tampa, Florida 33610. Funeral service will follow at 10 AM. A committal service will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Tampa, FL 33610. Service officiated by Rev. John R. Powers.
Mrs. Pursell retired in 2011, last being employed by Advantage Home Health. She worked at Centro Asturiano Hospital for 27 years when first coming to Florida from New Jersey.
