Born in Tampa, Florida, Sarah was the youngest of three children born to Barkley & Belva Charpia.
Sarah lived the majority of her life in Tampa. She was a graduate of Hillsborough High School and attended the University of Tampa.
She retired from GTE after over 25 years of service.
She was a longtime member of Bayshore Methodist Church and cherished her church family.
Sarah was a loving mother and grandma, treasuring time spent with her entire family. She enjoyed sharing time with close friend Norman Worth and his family for over 40 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers: Henry Charpia and William Charpia; and close friend, Norman Worth.
Sarah is survived by her three children, Suzanne Rabb, Barbara Miller (Jerry) and Bob Roddenberry, along with her five adored grandchildren, Cheryl Wright (Dustin), Heidi Brown (Corey), Haley Carroll (Adrian), Tommy Roddenberry (Sarah) and Rachel Hathaway (Keith). She was also blessed with seven great grandchildren, Callie, Ava and Kailer Wright, Hannah and Cameron Brown, Maeve and Junot Carroll, and a Hathaway and Roddenberry on the way.
Sarah will always be remembered for her kindness and generosity; sharing her love and compassion with everyone, especially those less fortunate.
God bless you. You were and will forever be our beloved Mother, Grandma and Great Grandma. Rest in peace.
