A sense of service defined her professional life, where she found deep purpose throughout a 45-year career in recreational therapy at Memorial Hospital of Tampa.
In her retirement, Sherry found peace and joy tending to her home garden, hosting friends and family, and remaining a student of faith and history.
The eldest of her siblings, she is survived by her brothers, Stephen Allman and Charles Allman.
She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Marisa Allman. Her love reached through generations to her nieces April Toman (Peter) and Penny Garcia (Chris) and her great-niece and nephews, Claire Toman, Will Toman, and Ethan Garcia.
Her memory will also be cherished by a wide circle of extended family and dear friends.
Though she has returned home to the Lord, her legacy of community and family lives on. Her strength remains our guiding light.
