We met Shirley when we came to Tampa from the UK as part of an exchange group back in 1983, we became friends immediately because she was so welcoming and so easy to be with and over the years visits here by Shirley and visits by us to Florida created many wonderful memories. She will always hold a special place in our hearts as thoughts of her always make us smile. God bless sweet lady.

We loved seeing Shirley at many family events. As Matthew and Amy's relationship blossomed, Lynette & Randy started bringing her to our Thanksgiving. We loved having her and Tianna. She enjoyed the food and having all the kiddos running around. She loved her family so and was so proud of her grand children and greats! We'll miss her. We are rejoicing she is with Jesus and reunited with her family members that went before her.

She was an amazing woman to raise my brother and I as if we were her own. For that, I am forever greatful! She would always talk to me on my rides home from work (45 min drive) and say, how long we talking today Brandy! She would give me the latest news update, despite my refusing to watch the news. She's done that for years, I'm really going to miss those phone calls!
