Soraya Liliana Sandoval

Born in Bogota, Colombia, she began her education at St. Luis High School, later attending the Colegio Mayor de Cundinamarca, before enlisting in the Colombian national police, where she earned the rank of Lieutenant. She later moved with her family to Medellin, Colombia, where she attended Eafit College of Business Administration. Always striving for bigger opportunities, she moved with her family once again, to Tampa, FL. While here, she attended the University of South Florida, graduating with a business degree. Alongside her husband, she built a fruitful business where she was head financier.

Liliana was a loving mother and wife like no other. Although she loved walking, dancing, baking, and gardening, her favorite part of any hobby was enjoying it alongside her family and dogs.

She is survived by her two sons, Juan Jose and Carlos Eduardo; her husband, Luis Eduardo; her mother, Maria del Carmen; her brother, Juan Manuel and two sisters, Marcela and Victoria. She is preceded in passing by her father, Juan Jose Sandoval Avellaneda.

A funeral service for Soraya will be held Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 2 PM at Christ the King Catholic Church, located at 821 S Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33629.
