Sylvester “Bunny” Norris, 83, of Zephyrhills, FL passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025. Born on April 9, 1941 in Lake City, FL, he was one of 9 children to the late Millard and Katie Norris. Bunny enjoyed fishing, golf, listening to blue grass music and hanging out with his family and friends.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Norris; his daughter, Robin Schmurr; his grandson, Brian Mealer; his granddaughter, Vanessa Schmurr; his brother, Truman Norris and his sister, Betty Ernest.
He will be remembered and missed by his significant other, Susan Peterson; his siblings, Eddie Norris, Marie Baker, Jennylou Alred, Faye Buzbee, George Norris, and Paul Norris; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Family and friends will gather for a memorial service at 11:30am Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Fowler Avenue Baptist Church, 6161 E Fowler Ave, Temple Terrace, FL 33617 with Pastor Luke Knickerbocker officiating. Inurnment will follow services at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, 4891 E. Lake Ave, Tampa, FL 33610
