Teresa Jean Ingram Milano, beloved grandmother, mother, sister, and pillar of the South Tampa community, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2026. Born on August 4, 1956, Teresa Jean Ingram carried the names Adams, McPherson, and finally Milano, as her life unfolded.
Teresa was a proud daughter of Tampa, where she was known for her vibrant and charismatic spirit. She was a well-loved bartender in South Tampa’s most iconic establishments, bringing people together with her warmth and smile. In addition, she had a remarkable career in finance and office management, always bringing dedication and integrity to her roles. She lived her life with purpose, humor, compassion, and grace.
Her faith was at the center of everything she did. A devout Christian, Teresa dedicated her life to serving others, especially through her church’s food ministry, helping to provide faith filled support and essentials to those in need.
Teresa survived and overcame a major stroke and amputation that left her wheelchair-bound. Yet, even then, she was a shining light in her community at Concordia Village, now known as Blue Palms Village at Fletcher, where her friendship and joy were boundless.
She was predeceased by her devoted parents, David and Imogene Ingram; sister, Susan Carlson; niece, Amanda Leech; and brothers Robert, Tony, Tom, and Richard Ingram. Teresa is survived by her loving children, Michelle McPherson-Gamboa (Richard) and Jamie McPherson-Brantley; adored granddaughter, Alexandria Washington; her supportive siblings, Kim Webb (Drew) and Steven Ingram (Tina); her soul mate, Vincent "Vinny" Milano; and her faithful companion to the end, Hooty Milano; as well as a family full of nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends whose lives she touched. She loved with all of her heart and will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew her.
A Celebration of Teresa's Life will be held in August; details will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Victory over Poverty Food Pantry in her honor. You can contact or make donations by going to www.victoryoverpoverty.org.
