Theresa L. Cafarella de Garcia

Theresa Louise Cafarella, 39, of Tampa, FL / Plymouth, MA lost her 2nd battle with cancer on July 30, 2022. She leaves a huge hole in the hearts of her family and friends who were always endeared by her kindness, her caring nature and her love. Theresa was born on January 21, 1983 to David Cafarella and Mary Petteys (Nash) in Dorchester, MA. She was an exceptional preschool teacher, a trained CNA, as well as, a fantastic stepmother, a great wife and a best friend to all walks of life. Theresa was beloved by everyone who met her. No matter the circumstance, you'd always leave with a story of something funny / loving Theresa did while you were with her. If there was one thing Theresa lived, it was her faith in God and her love of family.… No matter what the challenge or request, she gave her all to ensure she exceeded all expectations whether for herself or others. Especially through her 2nd battle with cancer, her faith in God remained unwavering. Theresa loved long walks, biking at parks and her favorite; was a day at the beach with family. She was also an avid student of the Bible. Theresa is survived by her husband of 11 years, Federico Garcia III, her step-children, Federico IV, Julissa and Jeremiah; of whom she loved deeply. She is also survived by her father David, mother Mary, her older brother Josh and younger sister Amy.
