Born and raised in Minnesota, Tom graduated from Robbinsdale High School before pursuing new opportunities in Florida. He built a successful career doing what he loved—designing and selling swimming pools for several companies, where his creativity and dedication earned the respect of both colleagues and customers.
Tom was a man of many interests and hobbies. He was especially known for his colorful storytelling, remarkable vocabulary, and the vast knowledge he acquired through a lifetime of self-education. His wit, curiosity, and unique personality made him unforgettable to those who knew him.
Tom was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Ellen Jeppesen, and his son, Timothy Jeppesen. He is survived by his daughter, Julie Arfanis; his son, Scott Thompson; his grandchildren; and his sister, Linda Kappel.
