She is preceded in death by her parents; Rosario and Maria Ferlita, brothers; Salvatore, Angelo, and Guiseppe Ferlita, sisters; Mary F. Lupo, Lily F. Tinnaro, Rose F. Gonzalez, and Adela Ferlita, her husband Peter Guastella, and daughter Marie Jean Guastella-Cannella.
Violet is survived by her son Charles Guastella (Myra), son-in-law Robert Cannella (Frances), grandchildren; Dr. Anthony Cannella (Maria), Emily Messir (Carlos), and Peter Guastella (Lauren), great grandchildren; Eva Marie Messir, Charles Henry Guastella, Manuel Carlos Messir, Samuel Peter Guastella, Paolo Antonino Cannella, and Santino Giacomo Cannella, nieces; Mary Pullara and Joann Cavaleri-Whipple (Bill) and nephew Dr. Joseph Lupo (Verna Lee), great nieces; Pia Lamoureux (Jimmy), Liana Brock (Dr. Jack), Sandra Kolterman (Bruce), Gina Monte (Joe), Patty Cribb (Stephen), Michele Massaro, Joanne Powers (Mike), Lorraine Arcuri (Tony), Debbie Rotolo (Steve), Sharon Bell, Barbara Deese, great nephews; Sam Ferlita (Judy), Alfred Tinnero (Barbara), Randy Ferlita (Chris), GianAngelo Massaro, and Dr. Mark Lupo (Ann), great godchildren; James Lamoureux (Jacqueline), Nicholas Lamoureux, Gabriella and Siena Brock, and Adrian Lamoureux, and many beloved Ferlita, Lazzara, and Riggio family member and friends.
A Graveside Service will be conducted 1p.m., Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, 5048 E. Lake Ave., Tampa, Florida 33610. Pallbearers will be Dr. Anthony Cannella, Peter Guastella, Carlos Messir, Dr Joe Lupo, Dr. Jack Brock, Jimmy Lamoureux, James Lamoureux, and Nicholas Lamoureux.
