Vivian "Bebie" Aguipo Pelayo

Florida — Vivian Pelayo "Bebie", 61, died unexpectedly on December 30, 2024, at AdventHealth Hospital in Tampa, FL, following a long battle with cancer. Vivian joins her father, Carlos Pelayo and brother, Carlos Pelayo Jr.

Vivian is survived by her husband of 42 years, Joe; her mother, Celestina; her daughter, Maricel; her sons, Ramer and Joseph; her sisters, Merla, Evelyn, Alona, and Gerda; and her brother, Romil; her daughter-in-law, Sarah; her grandchildren, Katelyn and Blake; and close relatives and friends.

Vivian was born in Bogo, Philippines, and was raised in Calape, Philippines. Vivian studied at the Cebu Central College following graduation from high school.

Her children remember her as a loving mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals and career aspirations.

Vivian was passionate about fishing, shopping, and spending time with family. She also enjoyed playing mahjong to exercise her wits. As an experienced sales professional, she was a dedicated individual who loved the apparel industry and who was skilled at spotting the latest trends and fashions. She was an active and devout member of the Catholic Church.

A prayer service to honor Vivian as well as sharing of special memories will take place at 5pm on Saturday, January 4, 2025 at Blount and Curry Carrollwood located at 3207 W. Bearss Ave. Tampa, FL. 33618. The family will receive friends one hour prior starting at 4pm.
