Wesley was born to Paul and Adelaide Stockett on March 27, 1930. He was an Army veteran with a honorable discharge as sergeant. In his youth he enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his friends, The Reliant Riders. He married Margaret (Peggie) Barnes on October 22, 1955. He graduated from Villanova University and worked for Bell Telephone of PA as an electrical engineer. He and his wife Peggie retired to Sun City Center, FL, where he enjoyed playing softball.
Wes is proceeded in death by his parents, Paul and Adelaide; his older sister Pauline Brown, and his younger sister Jeannette Norman.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years Peggie; his son Robert Stockett; his daughter Wanda (Wayne) Whitehead; grandchildren Kristen (Alex) Hansen, Kelly (Matt) Cianciolo, Kimberly Mace, Paul Stockett and Gabriella Stockett; and great-grandson Xander Hansen.
He will be laid to rest at the family plot at Whitemarsh Memorial Park in Ambler PA.
