William Dolan Mullaney

William “Bill” Dolan Mullaney, Jr. passed away on July 4, 2019 at the age of 78 after a courageous battle with cancer. He died at his Tampa home with those who loved him by his side. Bill was born November 30, 1940 in Danbury, CT, and has resided in Tampa, FL since 2007. He is the son of William Mullaney Sr. and Mary Mahoney Mullaney of Bethel, CT.

A graduate of the University of Notre Dame, Bill was very proud of his 30+ years of service in Finance with IBM, from which he retired in 1993. He was an avid golfer, always quick with a joke, a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved the Lord and fiercely loved and protected his family.

Mr. Mullaney is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Vera (James) Mullaney of Tampa; three daughters, Marlene Brockmiller (Paul) of Farmington, MO, Dianne Lyons (Mike) of Anchorage, AK and Jana Danner (Chris ) of Tampa, FL; One brother, Paul Mullaney of Greer, SC, seven grandchildren (Lauren Brockmiller, Taylor Brockmiller, Lindsey Danner, Jackson Danner, Morgan Brockmiller, Kaitlyn Lyons and Logan Danner), and many friends and extended family.

A Funeral Service will take place at 11:30am on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Blount and Curry Funeral Home – Carrollwood Chapel. Family will receive friends one hour prior. Burial to take place following the service at Sunset Memory Gardens.
