Born May 9, 1932 in Hare, Tx and passed away September 14, 2013 at his home near Taylor, Tx. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert Paul Kelm, Sr. and Effie Dean Kelm. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Linda (Jones) Kelm, daughter Laura Kelm Buck and son-n-law Peter Buck, son Steven Kelm and daughter-n-law Lynn Armstrong Kelm, 11 siblings; Johnny Kelm, Arnelle Gamble, Jimmy Kelm, Mary Lou Worley, Bill Kelm, Geneva Barchuch, Roger Kelm, Ronnie Kelm, Bonnie Morrison, Pat Kelm, and Cathy Hendrix, 6 grandchildren; Chris, Crystal, Kasey, Kelli, Kenny, Cheyenne; 8 great-grandchildren C.J., Jaden, Emma, Savannah, Camdon, Tinslee, and two on the way.
Albert proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He then worked for Xerox Corporation for many years before pursuing his dream of gunsmithing. He will be missed by many.
Visitation will be Thursday evening, September 19th from6-8pm and the Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, September 20th at 10am. Both services will be held at Condra Funeral Home in Taylor, Texas. Burial to follow immediately at Lawhon Springs Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice or the American Cancer Society. A special thanks needs to go out to all the staff at Seaton Williamson hospital, Dr. George and Dr. Sheinbein of Texas oncology, San Gabriels Nursing/rehab, Dr. Babbar, and Dr. William Biel.
