Strongest little man I have known. I attempted to help him dig a trench in his backyard on Vernon Street one time. He was repairing his sewage pipe.
I helped him for a couple of yards and came up with an excuse that I had to be somewhere. I didn’t want to admit that the old guy was stronger than I was. Anyway his strength was not only in his muscles, his greatest strength was the love for his family, equipped with a level of decency very few humans possess.
Attached is a picture I took today in rainy Holland and at the moment I saw this page, the sun came through the heavy blanket of clouds. I believe it was Candy, letting me know he is in a better place. That should not come as a surprise to us, because we all know his gentle character would lead him to God. See you later buddy!
