Unfortunately I didn’t get to know Grandpa Carlos but the one memory I do have as well as Dustin and Nick is when Grandpa was driving us and betting us that his car could fly, as we said no way...Grandpa stepped on the gas and the front end of the car raised up and made us lean back in our seats. We laughed a lot after that. I hope you are flying in heaven now.

I will miss my daddy Carlos Sr Olivares so much. My daddy was my best friend ,he was the first man to love me. I am so lucky that our dear lord chose him to be my daddy. My daddy always had a way with people. He taught me to never let anyone take advantage of me and to be strong. I have been very fortunate to have those strengths with me and I have passed it onto my children and grandchildren. My dad always played jokes on us as children and even into our adult years. When I would come to visit him in Texas we would talk about the old days and we would laugh and at times cry. I know that he's in heaven now and is finally pain free and is walking around playing jokes on all the other angels we have there. He's with grandma and grandpa, his brothers Santos, Alex ,and Lorenzo. How lucky he's to be surrounded by his loved ones in heaven. Te amo con todo mi corazon papa!
