Sally Ford of Little River, Texas passed away peacefully on Monday, April 6, 2026, at the age of 94. She was born in Holland, Texas on February 4, 1932, to the late Joe F. (Sr.) and Mary A. (Selucky) Pavel of Bartlett, Tx. She was one of five siblings.
Sally grew up in the Holland, Bartlett and Granger area. The family attended Saint Cyril Methodius Catholic Church in Granger. Sally married the love of her life, Marvin H. Ford on June 20, 1956. They purchased their lifelong home in Little River, Texas where they built a beautiful life together. On November 30, 1959, they joyfully welcomed their one and only child, Darrell W. Ford, into their family. Sally treasured the life they built together with family and friends. She and her husband were truly blessed to share in the milestone of 65 years of faithful marriage.
Sally will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile and her bubbly personality. Her joy-filled laugh was very contagious, and she truly brightened a room. She was known for sharing very funny stories and telling silly jokes. Collecting figurines and mementos as reminders of family travels or special occasions was something she enjoyed. She also enjoyed collecting and displaying artwork of outdoor landscapes or wildlife in her home. You could often find Sally working in her yard and tending to her assortment of plants.
She is survived by her sister-in-law, Irene Pavel of Granger, Texas as well as numerous nieces and nephews in the central and south Texas area.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin and their son Darrell, her sister Tillie Pavel and by her brothers Antone Pavel, Edward Pavel & wife Lillian, and Joe Pavel Jr. & wife Mabel.
A family memorial service will be held in the chapel at Condra Funeral Home in Taylor on Friday, April 10 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Holland Cemetery.
