

Clarence Lee ( C.L. ) Carson, 71 of Katy, Texas. Passed Away June 29,2016 in Katy, Texas. C.L. was born on May 1,1945 in Austin, Texas to Clarence and Margaret Carson. He attended Taylor High School and Southwest Texas University in San Marcos, Texas. After college C.L. joined the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Vandenberg AFB in California. After his service to our country C.L. career in telecommunications started with Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. and ended when he retired from Halliburton in Houston, Texas with 25 years of service. Aside from his family, one of C.L. greatest loves was in cooking BBQ. He was a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and of the “ Sauerkrauts” BBQ cook off team. He later turned his hobby into a restaurant and catering business. C.L. will always be remembered and loved for his kind soul, his gracious hospitality, and his life-long friendships. C.L. is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Janet ( Maio ) Carson, numerous sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. There will be a Graveside service held on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Taylor City Cemetery in Taylor Texas.
