David Ray Eschberger, 70 of Taylor, Texas passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020 at his home in Taylor. David was born in Taylor, Texas on August 12, 1950 to the late Calvin Eschberger (father), Lillian Crisp(mother) and Melvin Crisp(stepfather). He graduated from Taylor High School in 1970 and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
David worked as a machinist at BABECO for most of his career. Words cannot describe how much David loved being outdoors. He was an avid hunter for all of his life, hunting from South Texas to Wyoming. In addition to hunting, David had a passion for fishing, whether it be bass fishing on Lake Buchanan or fishing for halibut in Alaska.
David is survived by his daughter, Janet Boswell and husband, Jason of Taylor, Brothers, Randall Eschberger and wife, Donna of Burnet and Timothy Crisp of Taylor. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and other family and friends.
A private ceremony will be held among family at a later date.
