He was born on May 7, 1952 in Idaho Falls to Raymond L. and Laura Croft Cleverley. He graduated from Shelley High School .
After school, Dennis traveled and became a Merchant Marine. He spent many years working on boats as the pilot and also on oil rigs in Florida, later Dennis moved to New Orleans, where he became Production Manager for Morning Glory and was later transferred to Taylor, Texas to Taylor Bedding where he made his home.
He met his wife Laura Andrea Aguilar St. Patrick's Day 2007. After a long romance they were married June 16,2012.
Dennis was a very loving, caring and happy man. There was not a person that had ever meet Dennis that did not love his charming Irish personality. Even through his illness, Dennis never stopped worrying about his family and friends. He would tell jokes in the darkest times just to “lighten” the moment.
Dennis had many hobbies which included traveling, paleontology, horses, ranching, and spending Wednesday night with his sons and the guys at “lodge”. And every night he made sure he had plenty of time to read to his wife before bed. Dennis was a very smart man, and wanted nothing more than for his wife and children to be also.
