Dorothy M Palm

Dorothy Marie Seilheimer Palm, age 94, of Thorndale passed away Tuesday September 3, 2019 in Houston, TX. Dorothy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Over the years, Dorothy lived in Dallas, Galena Park, Marshall and Thorndale. For the past five years, she resided at The Lexington Center Assisted Living Facility, in Huntsville.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, in Thorndale for the past 64 years.

She was active in the Town and Country Club of Thorndale. She was an accomplished artist, quilter, seamstress, crafter, and pianist. Dorothy loved feeding her birds, growing her irises and bragging on her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Palm; her parents, Paul Frederick Seilheimer and Paula Bosse Seilheimer; her brother, Paul Henry Seilheimer; her sister, Carolyn Seilheimer Buford; and her grandchildren, Gregory Allen Palm and Lara Jane Palm.

She is survived by her children, Gary Allen Palm (wife – Ruth Ann) of Georgetown, TX, Janet Palm Adams (husband – Preston) of Rockport, TX, David Wayne Palm (wife – Patsy) of Thorndale, TX, and Ruth Palm Cowart (husband – Byron) of Montgomery, TX; her grandchildren, Christopher Bryan Adams (wife - Kathy) of Seguin, TX, Monica Palm Leatherwood (husband – Steve) of Thorndale, TX, Michael Lee Palm (wife – April) of Friendswood, TX, Julie Marie Adams of Rockport, TX, Steven Douglas Palm of Austin, TX, Annamarie Christine Cowart of Houston, TX, and Gabrielle Leigh Cowart of Fort Worth, TX; her great-grandchildren, Elias Palm, Arion Palm, Logan Palm, Nathan Palm, Katelyn Palm, Steven Leatherwood, Jr., and Levi Ochoa; her two dear sisters-in-law and numerous nephews and nieces

Visitation will be held on Friday September 6, 2019 from 6pm-8pm at Condra Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2pm at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Thorndale, TX. Burial will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church PO Box 369, Thorndale, TX 76577.
