Eddie Guy Caffey

Eddie Guy Randolph Caffey, age 85, of Thorndale, TX passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013. Eddie was a kind, hardworking man, a great husband, and a wonderful father. There will never be another like him and he will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed Thomas and Mamie Caffey; his brother, Wilfred Barkley Caffey; and his sister, Mamie Virginia Caffey.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Daisy Caffey; his children, Vivian Anesta Ann Caffey Rydell (Raymond), Fawn Carnice Caffey Baldwin, and Guy Stanley Caffey (April); and his grandchildren, Crystal, Renee, Landon, Christopher, Danielle, and Jeremy.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 6pm-8pm at the First Baptist Church in Thorndale, tx. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 3pm at First Baptist Church in Thorndale, TX. Burial will follow at Salty Cemetery.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Thorndale’s Building Fund or the charity of your choice.
