Edward Thomas Roznovak, age 86, of Thrall, Texas, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018, in Round Rock, Texas. Edward was born in Hoxie, Texas, on April 12, 1932, the son of Joe and Antonie (Kubacak) Roznovak. On September 28, 1972, he married Helen (Kubicek) Roznovak in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Taylor, Texas. Edward worked as a butcher for Taylor Meat Co. for 35 years until his retirement. He was a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a member of St. Anne’s Altar Society. Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Roznovak; his parents; two brothers, Joe Roznovak, Jr. and Alvin Roznovak; and two sisters, Agnes Jez and Evelyn Matysek. Survivors include his daughter, Jo Ann Roznovak of Thrall; his sister Margaret Safarik of Austin, sisters-in law, Lenora Tucker of Austin and Vera Roznovak of Taylor; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 8, 2018, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Condra Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 9, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Keith Koehl officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Roznovak and Marvin Matysek. Pallbearers are Kevin Roznovak, Claude Roznovak, Alvin Roznovak, Jr., David Roznovak, Randy Klaus, and Hunter Matysek. Donations in memory of Edward may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
