

Frank was born in Taylor on 3-9-30 to the late Frank and Mary (Pokorny) Mikulencak. He was a member of the Taylor Brethren Church. He attended Tyler School in Rice’s Crossing. Frank married Dorothy Palla on 10-25-49. They were married for 65 years. Frank worked for Texas Highway Department on the road crew for 38 years and was a lifelong farmer.
In his younger years, he was a member of the Taylor Volunteer Fire Dept and served as treasurer of the Taylor Brethren Church. Frank enjoyed playing Tarock cards and dominoes with his family and friends. He recently received a trophy for Best Fisherman 2024 from S.P.J.S.T Senior Living Fishing Tournament.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers Rudy, Daniel, Albert, Calvin and baby William, sisters Ruth and Mary, all of Taylor.
Frank is survived by daughters Vera Woods (Reginald) and Sandra Kruse (Robert) both of Taylor. Grandchildren Reggie Woods Jr (Kathy), Frank Woods (Kayla), Jeremy Rathke, Dustin Kruse (Tobi), Robert E. Kruse (Jennifer). Great grandchildren Nathan Jones (Kacey), Faith, Garrett, Emory and Kaitlyn Woods, Corbin Olson, Austin, Jaycie and Gunner Kruse. Great Great grandchildren Annalee Jones and Theodore Woods-Olson.
A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 11, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Condra Funeral Home, Taylor, Texas. A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Condra Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Taylor City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Reggie Woods Jr, Frank Woods, Jeremy Rathke, Dustin Kruse, Robert E. Kruse, Nathan Jones, Garrett Woods, Corbin Olson. Honorary pallbearers will be Faith Woods, Emory Woods, Kaitlyn Woods, Austin Kruse, Jaycie Kruse, Gunner Kruse, Annalee Jones and Theordore Woods-Olson.
Frank’s family thanks Pastors Jimmy Hejl and Wayne Walther, S.P.J.S.T. Senior Living staff and everyone who played Tarocks, dominoes and visited him.
