

James was born in Teaneck, New Jersey on January 24, 1937. He served honorably in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. James moved to Texas with his family in 1977, where he worked for Owens-Illinois glass manufacturer as an Electro-Mechanic. He was employed with Owens-Illinois for 37 years.
James was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lyons Keen and his father Edward A. Keen. He leaves behind, his loving wife of 54 years, Karen De Vault Keen, two sons, Steven Keen (Rhonda) of Round Rock, TX, Scott Keen (Michelle) of Taylor, Texas, and 5 grandchildren.
James was a member of Christ Fellowship Church in Taylor, Texas. He was also a board member of Shepherd’s Heart Food Pantry in Taylor, Texas.
He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.
Private graveside service for James will be at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas, followed by interment on Thursday, December 15, 2016. A memorial service will also be held for James at Christ Fellowship Church at 2:00pm on Thursday, December 15, 2016.
