To the family,

I will always remember Mrs. Bridges at Granger High School. She was just the sweetest lady ever. She will be truly missed and I will remember her when my birthday comes because she and I celebrate our day together. Rest on Mrs. Bridges. You fought the fight and finished your course. Mrs. Bridges was a huge part of our family’s life last year. Mrs. Bridges was my partner teacher and just a joy to work with. She was extremely supportive in every way possible. We were brand new parents last year and our son was sick often. She was always so at ease and supportive if I had to leave early to take him home or to the doctor. She would say, “Go don’t worry about us here! You go take care of that baby!” She was the best! I loved our talks at recess and listening to all her advice in teaching and life. I’m thankful I got to know her and proud to have called her my friend. Rest In Peace.

The community has lost a great advocate. Thnak you for your service to the youth of Central Texas as both an educator and a supporter of the Boy Scouts of America. You will be missed.

I taught with Janice for one year and it's hard for me to put into words the impact she had on fellow teachers, coworkers and of course the sweet kids. She truly loved her kids and ignited in them a love of learning. The memory that stands out the most to me a first year teacher, just coming out of college, I had to go almost two whole months before getting a paycheck. I was broke and seriously barely had enough money to eat. One day she brought me a huge bag full of groceries to make it by until I got paid. She was a true friend and helper of anyone who needed help. This angel that we've all come to love has gone home!
