Lisa J. Gebhardt died suddenly on Thursday March 18 at her home in Coupland, TX. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on August 28, 1964 and attended Waukesha South High School. She graduated from University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, with a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Communications, then attended Arizona State University, and went on to teach speech and communications courses at both Austin Community College and Temple College. She was a caring educator inspired to “make a difference” to as many students as possible. She was an active Rodeo Austin volunteer and enjoyed spending time with her horses and other animals, and remained always a dedicated Green Bay Packers Fan.
She is predeceased by her brother, Kenny and is survived by her parents Margaret L. and Robert G. Gebhardt; her brother Matthew (Laura); nieces, and many close friends. Her outgoing personality and generous friendship will be greatly missed.
