Margaret Gebhardt

Margaret Lou Gebhardt, known to everyone as Marge, was born in Inglewood, California, on October 4, 1943, to the late Lucille and R.C. Brock. She graduated from Rancho Alamitos High School in Garden Grove, California. She married Robert Gebhardt on March 5, 1961. They were married for 61 years.

After Robert got out of the Marines they stayed in California for 3 years. Then in 1967 they moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

In 2011, they moved to the Coupland area to be near their daughter Lisa in their retirement years.

Marge was baptized at St. Peter’s Church in Coupland on June 29, 2014. She and Robert joined the church on May 31, 2015

She worked as a waitress in her early years until she became an operator for AT&T collecting information for phone books for almost thirty years. Marge enjoyed reading and cooking and was also actively involved in St. Peter’s Church of Coupland and the US Marine Corps Retirement Division.

Marge passed away at home on November 14, 2022 at the age of 79.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Richard Brock, her son Kenny, and her daughter Lisa.

A memorial to celebrate Marge’s life will be held on January 21, 2023, at 11:00am at St. Peter’s Church of Coupland.
