

on Saturday, August 28th, 2021. She was born at Davila in Bell County, Texas on February 16, 1921 to the
late Herman and Ella Miller. She married John Vanecek on April 17, 1942 and celebrated their 66th
anniversary just a few days prior to his death on April 21, 2008. She was also preceded in death by a
brother and two sisters.
Her parents were good, hard-working people and she continued that work ethic throughout her life.
She retired after many years working for the Sears Store in Taylor. She was always ready for garage
sales whether she was having her own or stopping to shop. And she continued to play "42" and regular
dominoes with her family even after her 100th Birthday. Her faith in God was strong and she was proud
of the fact that in the past few years she was able to read the Bible twice from cover to cover.
Pauline is survived by her daughter, Janie Mucha and husband, Bobby, her son, John (Buddy) Vanecek,
Jr. and wife, Glynda, her grandchildren Michelle Jones and husband, Turk, Wendi Baldwin and husband,
Randy, Brian Mikulencak and wife, Christy. Five Great Grandchildren also survive her, Justin Jones,
Kristin Jones, Halley Mikulencak, Lauryn Baldwin and Ryan Baldwin. Surviving Pauline also is special
Great Niece Donna Tolleson, Best Friend Ann Luck, Special Friend Dennie Saul and her beloved Mitzi the
Wonder Dog.
