Rafael Delgado Guerrero, 67, died unexpectedly August 10th, 2022 at his home in Taylor, TX. He was born April 10th, 1955 in San Diego De La Union, Guanajuato Mexico; the son of Eusebio and Eulalia (Delgado) Guerrero.
Rafael came to the United States when he was 18. Rafael was a hard-worker who worked a multitude of jobs from HVAC in Austin to Williamson County Grain in Taylor. Rafael last worked with the City of Pflugerville through 2002, then became disabled and retired.
In his spare time, Rafael loved going to Goodwill with his wife Irene, collecting scrap metal, doing crossword puzzles, and watching wrestling. Rafael loved his family and loved spending time with his wife, children, his grandchildren and great grandchildren. His grandchildren and great grandchildren knew him as “Tata.”
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Luz and brother Antonio. His survivors include his wife Irene (Flores) Guerrero, are his children Richard Alderete, Lina Guerrero and her husband Johnny Guerrero, Ignacio Alderete and his wife Nicole Alderete, Nelson Guerrero, 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, 1 dog named Oreo, 3 cats named Tom, Jerry, and Leo. He is also survived by 3 sisters Virginia Delgado Guerrero, Castula Delgado Guerrero, and Asencion Delgado Guerrero, and many nieces and nephews.
