Dear Hegar Family,
I’m so very sorry for your loss. Mr. Hegar was such an outgoing man that seemed to have never meet a stranger and was always happy and in a cheerful mood. I know Thorndale won’t be the same without his presence. May God’s love and strength be with each of you through this sorrowful time and may your hearts always be filled with the wonderful memories of the years you all shared together with Mr. Hegar.
Love and Prayers,
Sarah Locklin Taylor

I’m so sad to know Bob is gone, he had been in my life for 40 years., as my father-in law , my kids grandpa and friend! We have had a lot of fun times together as a family and with old friends driving cars for Maxwell! I know you are peace now with family and your old friends, and with my dad! You were always the life of the party and treated everyone with humor and kindness! Thank you for everything you did and for being a wonderful grandpa to the kids! You will be missed dearly! We spent the last 16 Christmas's with grandpa and grandma. I will miss watching you open your presents while grama gave the presents to you so fast you'd always say let the kids go first but we loved watching you smile more then seeing what was under our wrapping paper. Christmas will never be the same and I'll still make sure nobody sits in your chair. Love you Grandpa

We are so sorry to hear of the loss of your love one. I remember the first time I ever saw Bob Hegar, it was when they came to look at my Grandparents house. He walked in the front door, came down the hall and I thought ooh what a big man! He was a big man to a small child, and I ran out the back door. Bob and Val bought my Grandparents house. Since my Grandparents moved right up the street from them, I eventually became friends with Bob and his family! I watched the boys grow up and move on. Bob you are not gone, just away. You will live on in all our hearts. One day we will be see you again in our Heavenly Home. God bless and keep you all during this time of sorrow.
