Roy Fritz Zieschang, 96, of Pflugerville, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 in Round Rock. As were his wishes, private family services will follow at a later date. Burial will be in Taylor City Cemetery.
Roy was born on Bland’s Ranch near Taylor, March 8, 1916 and lived a simple life as a farmer. He married Emily Louise Leschber November 3, 1935 in Thorndale. She preceded him in death November 29, 1973. He was also preceded in death by one son, Curtis Roy Zieschang.
Survivors include one daughter, Peggy Minzenmayer of Pflugerville; three grandsons, Jeff Minzenmayer, Royce Zieschang, and Randall Zieschang; one granddaughter, Pam Cantrell, and numerous great-grandchildren.
