Ethel Lewis Sturgill, age 87, of Cumberland Gap, passed away on July 10, 2011 at Tri-State Nursing Home in Harrogate, Tn. She was the oldest of eleven children. She was a loving mother, wife and sister. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Sturgill; son, Curtis Sturgill and daughter, Patricia Webb.
She is survived by her daughter, Norma Wells ; son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Dorothy Sturgill; grandchildren, Sandy, Michellle, Jessica, Tommy and Liana; great grandchildren, Andrew, Natasha, Jacob and Zoe and Dimitri; sisters, Mary Jane, Dorothy, Hazel and Evonne; brothers, Tom and John L. Several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Monday, July 11, 2011 at the Burch Cemetery in New Tazewell.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your local Relay for Life.
