James Henry Poore

James Henry Poore, 55, passed away on February 11, 2016 in Knoxville, TN. He was born January 1, 1961 in Middlesboro, KY to Henry Poore and Bobbie Jean (Howell) Young. Jim received Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a young age and was of the Baptist Faith. Jim was preceded in death by his father Henry Poore; grandparents, Clayton & Dortha Poore and Jay & Oda Howell.

Jim is survived by his Son: Pvt. James Nathaniel Poore (USMC) of Arlington, TX

Mother and step-Father: Bobbie and Edward Young

Siblings: Richard Poore, Michelle (Mark) Flatt, Cynthia and Scott Young

He is also survived by nephews: PFC Christopher Poore (US Army), Colby Flatt, Adam and Lukas Young; Nieces: Sarah Poore and Madison Flatt

Along with a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 3 until 5 P.M. Saturday February 13, 2016 at Coffey Funeral Home with funeral service to follow at 5 P.M. Saturday at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell. Burial at 1 P.M. Sunday February 14, 2016 at Baldwin-Duncan Cemetery.
