Karen Sue Roberts

Karen Essary Roberts age 61 of Tazewell, TN was born August 5, 1952 and passed away December 18, 2013 at Claiborne County Hospital. She attended Claiborne County Schools; owned Bright Star Bookkeeping and Tax Service in Rutledge, TN. She was a member of Tazewell United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Essary; grandparents, Thurman and Etta Jane Essary and Cal & Vada Heatherly.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years: David Roberts of Tazewell, TN

Daughter: Gloria Johnson (Steve) of New Tazewell, TN

Grandchildren: Lucas Johnson (Brittany) of Tazewell, TN

Bailey Johnson of New Tazewell, TN

Mother: Nellie Greer

Brother: Mike Essary

And a host of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 8 P.M. Thursday December 19, 2013 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell. Funeral service 2:00 P.M. Friday December 20,

2013 in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel. The body will lie in state 30 minutes before service. Burial in the Fairview cemetery.
