Kenneth Ray Robbins

Kenneth Ray “Ken” Robbins age 62 of Tazewell, TN was born December 9, 1951 in Pineville, KY and passed away November 28, 2014 at his home after a brief battle with cancer. He was a member of New Tazewell United Methodist Church. He retired in 2007 from Ky. Utilities LG & E as Senior Scientist. He was a graduate with honors as a chemistry major at Cumberland College. He was an avid KY Wildcat fan. Ken also loved spending time with his grandchildren to whom he was known as “PPK”. He loved to know the weather, a meteorologist at heart. Ken was preceded in death by his mother, Verna Miller Robbins & father, Ralph Hershell “Shorty” Robbins; sister, Mary Jo Robbins and brother, Larry Robbins

Ken is survived by his loving wife: Sarizel LeFevers Robbins

Children: Tracy Bailey

Alison & Steve Bailey

Grandchildren: Tabitha McKinzi Alison Thomas, Sarah Ann Bailey, Paul Stephen Bailey and Seth Cameron Bailey

Brother: Ralph Hershel “Herky” (Rachel) Robbins of Pineville, Ky

Nephews: Kevin, Larry Charles, Ralph & David Robbins

Sister-in-law: Deloris Robbins

Brothers-in-law: Rick & Kathy LeFevers and Keith & Mary Ann LeFevers

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 P.M. Tuesday December 2, 2014 at Coffey Funeral Home in Tazewell with Memorial service 7:00 P.M. Tuesday December 2, 2014.
