Mrs. LaVerne Phelps Smith age 70 of Tazewell, TN was born June 7, 1941 and passed away September 3, 2011 at her home surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Tipton and Jettie Davis Phelps.
She is survived by her Son: Joe Smith of Dallas, Texas
Daughter: Sheila Graham of Knoxville, TN
Grandson: Josh Leonard of Knoxville, TN
Brother: Alan Phelps
Sister: Sue Carr both of Tazewell
nieces and nephews also survive her.
Memorial service will be Tuesday September 13, 2011 from 6 until 8 P.M. at First Avenue Hall in New Tazewell, TN
Coffey Funeral Home in charge.
