Lucille S. Evans

Lucille Evans was born October 20, 1931 and went to be with the Lord on July 28, 2017.

Lucille is survived by her son Roger Evans and wife Sue; son Larry Evans and Kim; daughter Kathy Henard; grandchildren Christie and Scott Evans, Jonathan Evans, Haley and Tyler DeBusk and Megan Crawford; Great granddaughter Katie Ann Evans; sister Annette Venable, Debbie McGinnis caregiver and friend, also many other friends and family.

Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Ulyss Evans; mother and father Otis and Harriet Simmons; and brother Kenneth Simmons.

Lucille was saved as at 9 years of age at Myers Grove Baptist Church and was a founding member of MCM Baptist Church.

Visitation of friends and family will be held Saturday July 29, 2017 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Tazewell, TN. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday July 30, 2017 at the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel with graveside to follow at Irish Memorial Gardens. Rev. Tyler DeBusk and Rev. Tommy Russell officiating; music by Living Water; and pallbearers Richard Evans, Scott Evans, Gene Simmons, Denver Myers, Tim Drummonds and Jim Smith. Coffey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
